"Change" seems to be the buzz word recently.

"Change" is the theme of the current stage of my life. During this period, travel has became a life style, not a luxury. It is a necessity.

Counting down to another adventure in Europe with E.
Our route: Home-- Frankfurt-- Munich--Black Forest--Heidelberg--Luxembourg--Belgium--Netherlands--Home

In between traveling to those "exotic" destinations, I've learned to enjoy and appreciate things in my own "backyard". Luckily, I have a pretty big "backyard" to play.

So, while counting down the days to the next "disappearance", I was:

Looking at this sun flower that is bigger than my head
Checking out scarecrows at Sleep Creek Winery and sipping wine slush in a hot summer day
Visiting a private European style garden in Columbus, Indiana
Treasure hunting in Indiana Brown County's flea markets
Strolling through Allerton Park garden, one of Illinois seven wonders
Meditating in the Bahai Temple in Wilmette, Illinois
Driving through Parke County, Indiana to find covered bridges that represent American countryside
Enjoying my favorite lemon Italian ice in Chicago

Simply making the best out of my life during the changes.
