The timing of our flight in the afternoon meant that there was not a lot of time to do much in the morning so we spent the time shopping. Our friends took us to some of the out-of-town shops. The prices were shockingly low compared to the UK, although we still need to remember to add the taxes on. The food was also seriously cheap, with bottomless soft drinks and bottomless chips (proper "fat chips" and not those usual stringy fries), neither of which we get back home. I avoided the horrid liquid cheese.

Milwaukee was only a small airport, but there are flights to Toronto, so it saved us having to go back to Chicago to fly from there.

When we arrived at our hotel in Toronto we had been given a room upgrade to an absolutely huge suite. It was massive so our son and daughter could each have their own room and we had a lounge to relax in as well.
