We recently purchased a Sprinter Van, converted to a camper van. My husband has been eyeing them for years. This year he decided to bite the bullet, spend most our savings and splurge on a van. I have to say I was a little perplexed by his need to buy one so soon. We had talked about when we retire. (That's at least 10 years away). Maybe this is his cure to the mid life crisis? Much better then a corvette. We have both been car campers most our lives. This is a step in luxury. We have gone on several excursions already. I have to admit its kinda nice just packing food and clothes and hopping in the van. When we arrive at our site there isn't the usual find a good tent spot and set up camp. Our trips have included several outings to Eastern Washington with our bikes to prepare for our trip to Spain. ( More to come on our amazing bike adventure to Spain). The KOA campground was plush. We pulled up, plugged in, took hot showers after riding 50 miles and kicked back. I might be able to get use to this life.
