Tuesday

Pretty relaxing day. Say Han Kor (Aunt Lay), Elizabeth and I drove to Seward Park in the morning, a local park along Lake Washington, and hung out at the beach for a little while. It was another scorching day.

We came back home and I stayed at home and played some fiddle while Liz went to the optometrist.

After that I went with Say Han Kor to the Renton Farmers Market to get some fruit and veg. Pretty domestic stuff but nevertheless interesting for a tourist like me. Things are always a bit different when you're overseas.

Uncle Howard came home with some take-away Thai food for dinner and then we went to Ballard, about a 45 minute car ride North of Seattle to the Connor Byrne Pub to do some Bluegrass Jamming like I did about 2 years ago when I was in Seattle. Uncle Neil also came with us which was great.

It was a different group than last time. It was more Old-Time, but still a lot of fun.
