Back in Seattle

Some socializing in the 206 with friends of Julia, my parents, and my brother, Hall. Julia and I left Chicago in mid-AUG to come to Seattle to stage our world travels. While in the Northwest, we chose to lay low and relax in the Eastside most of the time. We stayed with my parents - privileged with the great late summer climate of the Seattle area. But, we also had to come to the city to hang with friends and attend some different events of interest. We watched the Chicago White Sox play the M's, while on their steady descent out of first place in the AL. We also checked out Common @ Bumbershoot - Seattle's summer music festival during Labor Day. Finally, Julia got to meet and greet one of her best friends from the East Coast, Georgia. The two former school mates were psyched to catch up, and I got to know Georgia's boyfriend. All good times. NOW, its finally time to pack aqnd travel abroad for a bit.
