Day 5. Leaving Tsawwasen we negotiated Saturday morning Vancouver traffic & arrived at Eddie's shop in Surrey, picked up some new tyres to carry with us, Keith had the first service done on his bike and we were in the queue for the border crossing at Peace Arch by 11am. The whole process took around 1.5 hours with the customs officer (1 of about 30 all packing heat) giving us some great tourist advice, places to visit things to see etc. At a refuelling stop just down the road we saw the Greenleaf recreational Marijuana shop but decided to stick to coffee & Subway for lunch. Geo: 48.5394, -121.745I've never been to Burning Man and was planning on making this year my first trip. A friend that goes every year told me not to worry about getting a ticket - that I could just get one when I get back to town. As the entire world knows, it sold out. Drats. I've been keeping a loose eye out for tickets, and one of my last days in Seattle decided to check the craigslist up there, and found the following post:Not scalping 2 second Level Burning Man Tickets (Rites of Passage), but not going to take a loss on them either. . After last nights excitement we had a relatively quiet night in the bustling metropolis of Coulee Dam, Washington - our room at the motel even had a view of the dam! Our plan for the day was to get up and take the first Dam tour, at 10am.
