Joe found another scenic drive for us to check out. Off we head to the next drive. This time on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Come to find out, once we found the entry, that this drive started where the Skyline ended.

The weather was still unstable. It would rain and then the fog rolled in, but we decided to continue on. We decided to exit at Roanoke. That would make our drive 120 miles.

By the time we reached our exit, the RV had overheated and Joe wanted to stop and let the engine cool down. The map of the parkway drive showed a state park called "Claytor State Park Lake." We settled on staying there and the place was beautiful and very quiet.

You asked if we have had any problems -- not really, if I could read a map correctly. Turning this "train" around can be quite a chore at times. Oh and if the leak in the bathroom is considered a problem.

After two days of driving in the hills, we made a decision to head to Memphis instead of the Smoky Mountains. MEMPHIS HERE WE COME!!!
