Plowing
Ryan took these of our driveway this morning We now know we made the right decision to leave Shongo when we did. What a snowy mess it is becoming. Our grandson, Ryan, ran his snowplow in our driveway early today.....if you don't have to get out in it, I guess it could be a pretty Winter Wonderland. Otherwise, it is a Nasty Nightmare. Our Doppler showed freezing rain coming across into Virginia today. I told Cory he had to get through the state as quickly as he could.....wrong comment. Cruisin' Cory became Speedster Stan......we were flying along the highway like the Bullet-Train in Japan.....until I screeched. No wonder I have grey hair. We managed to stay just ahead of the treacherous weather until 1:00 PM @ Christianburg, VA. The rain was getting heavier and the temperature was dropping.....time to stop. There's no way we want to try our load on an ice slick. We are at a Quality Inn next to a Cracker Barrel so we are set for a good night. They are very clever with their towel folding presentation......note photo.....simple but clever. Someone should write a book on the various towel creations found in motels. We tried out their exercise room so we could indulge in the Quality Inn
Lulu peeping. Unique towel folding display. Chocolate Coca Cola Cake at CB...it is a must -- to die for if you haven't tried it. Lulu started some of her exercises at home to participate with Cory and his physical therapy on his shoulder. I tried to give you a good look at a true mobile mud hut: Our Car and RV! Actually the rain took a tad of the dirt off but it has a long way to go. I doubt that even power washing will work.....it will have to be sandblasted! Maybe they won't let us enter the RV park.....no dirt bags allowed! Time to switch from the Weather Channel to The Big Bang Theory (best show ever - we love it)....Bazinga and Good-nite.

early stop for us too
Not as bad as for you - but temps are forcasted to drop to the high 20's tonight - too cold for the Wal-mart parking lot we were planning! Found a small campground just east of Tallahasee.
