Traveling into Vermont
Vermont & New Hampshire

Staying at the shopping mall was not bad. It was quiet and we woke up to -- yes RAIN!!

On the road -- rain isn't so bad. I pulled out my "assistant" to step up on so I could get the wipers to work with a swipe. AH HA.... that no longer works. The wipers have quit completely.

The farther we drive into Vermont we start seeing cars with snow on them? OMG ---- now we will have snow. Should we ditch our plans to go North like we had planned? Yes.. we decided to head for Maine and ditch the fall foliage tours. Didn't want to test the AAA coverage we bought.

By the time we reached New Hampshire the snow had stopped and so had the rain. We kept with the plan of driving on to Maine. After all we would have to find a place to stay overnight. We should have checked out the closing date for campgrounds, but figured with fall they would be open at least until the end of October. Heck no... that would have made it simple for us.

Entertainment - Te snow.
