Desert to Snow

We left Barstow where the wind was blowing and we were in shirtsleeves. Traveled through 4 states - California, Nevada (past Vegas), Arizona and then into Utah. So far we are at 3200K. Visited Zion National Park one of a few we will be seeing. We took the park shuttle tour which was very interesting and lasted about an hour. Then we headed north to Bryce Canyon which we will see tomorrow. We are above 8000 feet so there is snow on the ground. Dinner tonight was a Subway sandwich and a bottle of wine because the only local restaurant was packed. Should be back to warmer weather tomorrow.
