The trip begins

Today we left for the airport a little before 8, got through security quickly. We boarded the plane, took our seats in First Class and were soon on our way. The flight was uneventful and we landed in Orlando ahead of schedule. After getting our bags and rental car, we were on the way. The radio in our car did not work which we didnt find out until after we were on our way. Also, my phone navigation was not working but, luckily there is one road from the airport to our hotel so it was an easy drive.

We checked into the Homewood Suites in Cocoa Beach and then went to dinner. The flight attendant on the plane had made a few suggestions of places to eat so we ended up at Preacher Bar. It was an eclectic restaurant serving a range of food. We share poutine and Nikki had a salad and I had fish and chps and, since this is Florida, we shared a key lime pie for dessert.

Then we drove to the beach and walked along there for a little while before heading back to the hotel
