What a difference! We left Las Vegas on a warm sunny morning and arrived at Bryce Canyon at 8,000ft in the evening to be faced with sub zero temperatures and a snow storm.
During the 270 mile journey we passed through Zion National Park, a superb canyon with towering red Navajo Sandstone cliffs. Whilst in the park we had time to do two short walks, one to a location where the canyon gets very narrow and one through high country to a lookout over the canyon.
