Here are some photos during a recent training run on my favorite route from my house to the top of City Creek Canyon and back for a total of 14.5 miles. This dog reminds me of Malone, my lab who passed away in 2008. I often brought her to this park to play; she loved being in the water.

Dogs don't care who throws the ball. If there is a ball being thrown into the water they all go after it, whether they know each other or not!

This pond is about a mile from my house and near the end of my run it's a great place to hang out and stretch out a little, though I always think of Malone and miss her the most when I'm there.

Zoom shot of the Capital and the stairs I climb to get there. There are about 40 stairs which lead to switch backs trails on both sides to the top of the hill.
