Here are some photos during a recent training run on my favorite route from my house to the top of City Creek Canyon and back for a total of 14.5 miles. Coming out of City Creek I have two choices when heading home. I can take Bonneville Blvd. to the right, which is a direct route home, or I can take the path to the left which leads to Memory Grove, an additional set of stairs I have to climb and a more difficult but more scenic route home. Guess which one I took?!

Memory Grove is all about honoring those whose lives were lost in past wars and conflicts, beginning with WW1. Many of the monuments in this park are very old.
