Clean upClean upClean up

Jacque has quite a job after the rain storm.
July 19, 2013. 8 PM MDT

Today was a catch-up day. Did laundry, cleaned car, which was very dirty after being in a rain storm. Those wire-spoked wheels are not fun to clean. We went to the Host motel and registered for next week's tour which will run Monday through Friday. While Jacque was polishing the brass on the T, two men stopped by to talk. The one man from Tennessee said he had passed us on the open range yesterday during the rain storm. We had pulled to the side to put the curtains on the car and he blew the horn as he passed with his car in a trailer. He was worried about us making it to Kanab and looked on several of the motel parking lots hoping to see our car. The rod through the top of the hood keeps sliding back against the wooden dash, went to local true value hardware store and bought picture frame felts to stick on dash behind hood former, hoping this will hold and solve the problem. The day was relaxing.

Car
Mike, The car has performed exceptionally well so far. The E-Timer has done excellent , engine is running strong. Had it on the dyno today. We are at 5,000 ft plus, the guys doing the dyno said results are 25% lower because of altitude. I was the first one to dyno and had 14.01 up at rear wheels + 25% = 17.51, they said that was good. I will see Warwick Landry and say hi to him for you. Jacque
