On our way to west Texas we decided to take the southerly route. 😉 worked out great since neither of us had been to this part of Texas. The water is clearer than Galveston but still not as pretty as Alabama or Florida. 😊 we stopped briefly at mustang island state park near port Aransas then made the 1 hour trip to goose island state park which is on the east side of Corpus Christi. ... The sand castles permanent? Did you go inside the lighthouse? Did you buy a cinnamon roll to bring to me?

Haha. Yes the sand castles are permanent, when they get messed up the creator just redesigns them! I don't know if the lighthouse was open for visitors. No cinnamon roll to bring home! We ate the last one!
