Another 10 hour journey on the train through a barren landscape of desert, rocks and ranches. We arrived in El Paso late in the day and headed for the only hostel in town, located in the Gardner Hotel. This place is straight out of the history books, a 1930's hotel which still had all the original fittings and old worldy feel, it was cool.
