August 5th, 2013 9:30 pm CDT Day27 We left Roswell, NM. at 8:15am after riding around the city trying to find places we'd remembered from our time there in the 50's.We saw where the creek ran behind our trailer home and the wall where the trailer hung out over it. Also found the place where Mae worked, it's still a printing company. Mae went in and asked if this had been Hall- Poorbaugh long ago and the lady pointed to the wall where the sign was hanging, from that company. We had 295 miles to go to Haskell, Texas. It was miles and miles of straight road and very little traffic. When we got here at 5:15 pm, the temperature was 102 degrees. This was a day of just driving to our destination so I got
