Day 1 - Glasgow to Memphis



Well first day pretty much all travel. 7 hour flight to Philadelphia. 4 hour lay over. Which wasn't too bad. Gave me a chance to have a proper Philly cheese steak in The Jet Rock Bar and Grill. Then a few pints of Sam Adams while I watched the Euros. I love airport people watching. 2 hour flight to Memphis then a quick taxi ride downtown along the Mississippi. I cant believe I am gazing out at the Mississippi River. So much musical history on the banks of this huge winding river. Dumped the bags then walked round to the legendary Beale St for some blues history and a few beers and some live blues in Club 152 and Alfreds.
