Day 24 of our trip. We are camped in Mitchell South Dakota for the night. Went to the Badlands National park today. I guess we know where a lot of the old westerns were filmed. Can't imagine being out there on horseback wandering around. It was very dusty and mucho hot.

Did you see any fossils in situ? The Badlands are aptly named, but they do have an austere beauty.
