A Weekend at the Lake

From the USAF Chaplain Corps College at Fort Jackson, SC I drove over to Lake Cherokee for some down time with Mom, Dad, Janine, and the kids. We spent the weekend boating, swimming, fishing, and I even got up on water skis. It was the first time in 15 years. Andrew and I went for a run each morning and Katherine was brave enough to let me drag her around the lake on an old boogie board. In the evenings all 6 of us enjoyed playing a card game called "Hand and Foot". I cherished the good company, good laughter, good conversation, and good memories. Thank you God for playtime in water.
