We arrived in Gaffney SC a couple days early for our 18-19 Jan service at Oasis Freightliner Custom Chassis Service Center. It is critical we get Camp Boss serviced before we embark on our cross continent journey, so we wanted to take no chances of being late. Well it's a good thing we showed up early, because we timed our arrival with an unexpected snow storm. We were going to stay a couple days in the very nice Spartanburg/Gaffney KOA, but nature had its own plans. So we showered and caught up on laundry at the KOA, then got up early on the 17th to move into the Oasis FCC maintenance lot a day early. DAY 20: MAY 11, 2013 I had breakfast this morning at a little place called the Collinsville Bistro. The food was good, but something smelled funny in there. I couldn’t tell if it was me or if it was the waitress; or if it was a backed up drain, a gas leak or a dead body in the kitchen. I finished the meal, had only one cup of coffee, and scampered off quickly in case it was me. From Martinsville it is a fairly long drive down to the Cowpens National Battlefield in South Carolina.
