Lois We Have Heard on High
This is the sheer awesomeness that happens to anyone who walks with Tebow in a parking lot. That's right. That. Just. Happened. Lindsay reporting. It seems Mom and Dad have now been blessed by THE ultimate power in the entire universe -- the only power greater than God (but still not greater than Tom Brady or Derek Jeter). Not only is it a prophetic, iron-clad GUARANTEE that their trip will be fruitful, but now they'll probably live forever, too. Or at least sprout angel's wings and halos. Such a deal! Oh, the jealousy.... But this reminds me of those Audi commercials where they say "True greateness should never go unrecognized." Oh well, Tim. It looks like you've got some work ahead of you to make some more converts. Aw, who's kidding who? You don't have to do any work to gain followers. They just fall out of the sky all around you. You're TIM TEBOW for chrissake!
Hi all,
Here's the news for part of yesterday and all of today:
While having dinner at the Hilton in Waltham last night, I noticed a tall young man come into the restaurant. The manager greeted him and they spent a few minutes talking, I overheard the manager say he enjoyed reading the book. The tall young man
was wearing a team shirt of some kind and I thought he must be a big fan of some guy named Tebow - the name on the shirt. After dinner Dad and I went to our room where I was reading the newspaper. In an article there appeared a picture of Tim Tebow and the article mentioned a book he had written.
Ah ha!! This guy was Tim Tebow from the Denver Broncos. (We didn't recognize him because we don't follow sports). He was in our hotel to attend a book sale event - probably autographing his new book for those who wanted to buy it at the sale.
Then this morning we got up early to be sure to be at the house closing on time, which was in the buyer's lawyer's office in Needham. So we got checked out of the hotel and we were walking to our car in the parking lot. Right behind us was guess who? - Tim Tebow. He was parked 2 cars away from ours. He was very well dressed in a tan suit and matching accessories - even down to the luggage, which was almost the same color as his
Tebow Tebows
...and so does everyone else. Do it. Now. Mom and Dad, of course, are now exempt from having to. suit. He got into his nice looking, neat car and drove off. We, carrying a plastic laundry bag with some dirty clothes, got into our red van loaded with all our stuff - probably looking like the Beverly Hillbillies - and drove to Needham for the closing.
We had breakfast before the closing and drove around the corner to the lawyer's office, All went very smoothly - no glitches. It took about a half hour and we were out of there. We signed what seemed like dozens of papers but all went well.
Shortly after 10 A.M., we drove to the Mass. Pike and headed west toward Hartford, Connecticut. Went out across Connecticut, across the top of New York State, a small portion of northern New Jersey and into Scranton, Pennsylvania. We didn't see any signs of the cast from The Office so we kept on driving. We were heading south on Rt .81. It's been a few years since we took Rt. 81 and now found it to be very developed with hotels, shopping centers, etc, Of course, it's also a major truck route (what highway isn't?)
We stopped at a Cracker Barrel restaurant for dinner,
Show a Lady a Good Time
This is where all the finer gentlemen take their best gals to show them a hot time on the old town. then continued south on 81. At about 8 P,M. we decided to find a place to stay for the night and found a Hampton Inn located on the highway but couldn't find the road to get to it. After a few minutes of driving around the area, we finally saw a tiny sign pointing to the hotel. So we followed that road to discover that wasn't the entrance. Came out of there and drove a bit further to find another tiny sign pointing toward the hotel. We followed that and guess what? - we had arrived. The hotel had a room for us for the night and that's where we are now. After all the driving today, we'll hit the hay and get a good night's sleep. We have a wake-up call for 7:30 A.M. Then we'll be on our way to arrive at Leanne's and Ron's front door hopefully by 5 P.M.
Leanne, Leslie and Michael - it was fun talking with you on the phone today. Leslie and Lindsay - Dad and I really enjoyed your blurb comments and pictures. Keep up the good work!!!
Lydia and Kathy - hope all is well with you. Let
us know what you're up to. Kathy - I hope the chickens are keeping warm and beginning to lay eggs.
Will continue to keep you informed of our whereabouts. Take care, Love to all.

People talk about the Denver defense.
People talk about the Denver defense and how they deserve much credit. They ... but the defense played so well as when Orton was under center. Tebow is a number, of course, is not impressive, but his presence, and only about their power has increased, that the defense plays, where they are one of the best in the league, because Tebow is taking over. whatever, we can get more info on http://www.tebowformvp.com/, thanx
