Roadtrip #1 - Newport & the Pacific Northwest Coast

Since my dad is here visiting, we took a roadtrip for the weekend- starting in Portland, taking freeway 18 west to Lincoln City, then highway 101 (which has always been a dream of mine to drive) south past Newport. We spent the night in Newport before driving back east on highway 20, stopped for breakfast in Corvallis (home to Oregon State University and the Beavers), drove through the mountains in Warm Springs Indian Reservation before reaching Mt. Hood from south and coming back home to Hood River.
