Roadtrip up the West Coast

On 11th November at 1am, we left San Jose in California and travelled North up the Interstate 5 towards Portland and Seattle.
Within 2 hours of driving, we had already been stopped by the traffic police. Not a great start to the journey, however, the rest of the journey was fantastic and scenic.
I also managed to arrange my immigration forms to allow me to leave the country to Canada.
We drove passed one of California's tallest mountains, Mt Shashta and also crossed by Portland too.
Since we were behind schedule, we decided it would be a wise idea to continue to drive on to Seattle.
We covered around 800 miles in 15 hours and arrived in Seattle at 3.30pm.
