North by Northwest

With Vancouver being so close to the U.S. border, we thought it would be a good idea to head south for a long weekend. We weren't blessed with the greatest weather, but still had plenty of fun on our road trip which stopped through the cities of Portland and Seattle. We hope you enjoy these photos.

I finally made it to an NBA game
I'd been waiting thirty years, so I thought we should get there early to soak up all of the atmosphere

The next day we drove East of Portland to see this 620 foot waterfall (note GT standing on the bridge)

Tax free shopping
No sales tax in Oregon, so GT was up for some retail therapy - this ice rink was surrounded by dozens of shops

Dinner that night was my choice

Oregon Coast
Visibility was low, but it was great to see waves on the Pacific Ocean again

We spoilt ourselves with some local seafood that night
