Idaho was uneventful with views of farm fields and cows. When we crossed the Oregon border the scenary immediately became GORGEOUS. I love the green hills and the snow-capped mountains. We stopped in Baker Oregon for ice cream. What a beautiful quaint town between two mountain ranges. I wish I had time to shop - but with a dog in the car it is hard to explore too far from the car. The visitors centers have been our places of relaxing, dog walks, and pictures. Otherwise, I have to capture the views through the window at 75 miles per hour.
We got into Pendleton early so have time to relax, swim, walk outside in the mild weather, and give Graycee a bath. Only 3 or 4 hours to Keizer, Oregon where we will stay for two weeks with son Todd and family and enjoy the 4th of July! We arrived just in time for Brooklyn Flint's birthday.
My business road trip is done until July 19. I will be visiting some local community colleges for potential sales. I will be posting hi-lights from our vacation time with family and trip to the Oregon beach.
On July 19 we
Flowers!
Abundant flowers at the Oregon visitors center. depart on a new route home and I will be stopping at community colleges again. Stay tuned!

Your Oregon Blog
Wendy -- I can recall that same delightful experience in 1966 when we crossed the border from California into Oregon -- and were greeted with sudden gorgeous scenery! I just sent you an e-mail re your Graycee blog -- about being unable to forward my return comment on it. This time I see a "Submit" button. So off it goes! Love, Mom
