We take off today on The Three Capes Scenic Drive for Cape Kawanda, Cape Lookout, and Cape Meares. Visited the Meares Lighthouse where we walked a short trail to see the Octupus Tree.

Visited Sand Lake which is sand until high tide. Met a couple from Portland that told us about some places we might want to visit in that area.Of course they said we had to do Mt. Hood which we already had planned, but they recommended the Mt. Adams area and White Salmon River which we visited both of them.

Lucky to get this picture due to the fog. It was very windy and walking to the lighthouse the fog was like a light rain.
