Another day, another state, Oklahoma, just east of Oklahoma City. The Wes Watkins Reservoir had concrete picnic tables and an unusual 23mph speed limit. It is a first come, first serve (no reservations) campground, but we had no trouble securing a site. The nearby city of Shawnee offered a Planet Fitness for a workout and a carwash for Mazie, our Jeep.

The speed limit at Wes Watkins caught our eye. Why 23 mph?

Campsite

We had a nice pull through site with plenty of room for our Jeep. TNice size trees around the site, but still able to connect with StarLink.

Concrete picnic table

Each site had a concrete table and benches. Just a little chilly for outside meals this trip.
