The Aux Arc COE was another gem campground right on the Arkansas River. Our campsite was paved asphalt with an adjoining parking space for our Jeep. It included a sheltered aluminum picnic table and a fire ring. We walked over to the nearby river locks and watched boats pass through.

Amenities

The sheltered picnic table at the site was very nice with a view of the Arkansas River.

Campsite

Spacious site for RV and Jeep and relatively level.

Qzark-Jeta Taylor Lock and Dam

Hydroelectric power and lock near the campground. You can hear the sirens when the lock doors are being opened or closed.
