Osteology is the study of bones. I mention this because one of my facebook friends said "sounds boring" and then looked it up to see what it meant (clearly not a Nurse or in the medical field). For others, some people have heard osteoarthritis. If you think of that word, then you may come to the conclusion of what osteology is. In particular, this museum holds a lot of animal bones. It came about from a boy and his childhood passion/hobby. It is very informative museum for both the young and old. If you are in the area or would like to take the kids out for a couple of hours, this would be a great place to spend it.
One of the items on my bucket list has always included seeing all 50 states. This can be difficult unless you are rich, retired, or in the service. But seeing that I am a Registered Nurse, there are needs all over the country to fill shifts in hospitals. What better way to explore the country? Not only will I see the land but, as a nurse I will learn so many new procedures in healthcare. Becoming a traveling nurse will help me grow as a nurse and as a person.
