We headed out really early this AM at 5 to TRY and beat the heat. Didn't work. Other than the heat, it was an uneventful day since we were trying to make some miles toward cooler weather. Stopped at a Cracker Barrel for a late breakfast somewhere in Oklahama. We did find out that Oklahoma is a long state. We went through every Indian Nation imaginable: Cherokee, Creek, Seminole, Kickapoo, you name it. George said he wouldn't care to be from a tribe called Kickapoo and anything else associated with Poo. I agreed. Had to make a stop at a Wal-mart. We had held out for a whole day.
