Lots of twists and turns in the Missouri River
Had the chance today to drive up to the Mandan Indian Village site and catch the great view of the Missouri River from high above on one of the hills of the Missouri River Valley (from the Bismarck, ND side). The Missouri River is pretty low nowadays so the sand bars are pretty evident. Still a very pretty view looking toward Mandan, ND and down the River. Also has an easy walk to the remnants of the old Indian Villages.

I also went down by the Missouri River and took some shots of the very cool looking old railroad bridge (one of several bridges crossing the Missouri). A storm was rolling in so that is why there are dark skies.
