Nov 13. Slade Creek, NC to Beaufort, NC We left Slade Creek on Pungo River, NC (St M 140) at 0645. We went across Palmico River to Goose Creek Island. At 0900 went entered Bay River. At 0950 we cut across the junction with Neuse River. The rip currents became pretty strong there. At 1150 we entered Adams Creek which was one of the most beautiful sights of the voyage.
