Took the day to clean the boat. It was a mess. I feel better. Dinghyed over to dock and went to a little coffee shop to charge up computer. Very cool temp today and cloudy. Suposed to be warmer and sunny tomorrow. Waiting to pick up my brother hopefully tomorrow afternoon then hit the ditch again. Hopeto be in Charleston SC by Sunday. Anchorages are harder to plan for from here to there. I wish they were all as nice as this one. People speaking french all around me.... read more

Destination Wrightsville Beach anchorage, NC Left CampLejeune 6:15 arrived Wrightsville Beach anchorage at 1:20 I thought I was in Florida for a few hours.This is a beside the Atlantic ocean. hter areprobably 50 boats anchored here. It is a resort area and when I got here it was about 80 degrees and sunny. I took the dinghy to the dock and went to the grocery store to stock up. When I unloaded I mixed myself a nice screwdriver and sat on the deck and watched people anchor their boats. Married couplesshouldjustnot anchor boats together. It seems to be way too stressfull. Spring Break: a college tradition Wasn't big into spring break, not until my pledge bro Keth invited me over his family's beach house in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. Heck, why not, so a bunch of us frat boys drove from Iowa to North Carolina straight for roughly 18 hours. Not much too remember, except some drunk stories that are not appropriate to be shared in this blog. But anyhow, we survived the whole week in North Carolina (and a little bit of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina), and back to Iowa. We had a blast! And I ended up with tons of licence plates (hey Matt!
