Tornado warnings last night in Roanoke. There was a twister not too far from our hotel, but no drama with our location.

Rained pretty much all day today, which disrupted our scheduled
tour itinerary. It was too wet and foggy too visit a Blue Ridge mountain viewing point, so as a bonus, we visited the Blue Ridge Music Centre. Paul would love this. It is a history of music in the US. All music in the US developed from the Blue Ridge area in the Appalachian range, including bluegrass, hillbilly, blues, rock and roll, jazz, dixieland, etc.
As an extra bonus we were treated to a concert by a fiddle player, and a guy named James Bryan. He plays guitar, mandolin, banjo and fiddle. He has toured with Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, and Joan Baez to name a few.

Arrived in Cherokee and had a very nice meal at the hotel, pork ribs, meatloaf, lots of vegetables and salad. Bonus in the morning, breakfast provided free.

Heading for Nashville tomorrow. Should be good.
