Uncle Sam Boat Tour
On the St. Lawrence River. Our birthday gift to Alex was a boat tour of The Thousand Islands. While we lived in New York, he had never been and we didn't want him to miss this chance. We took the 12:30 p.m. Two Nation Uncle Sam Boat Tour which took us into Canadian waters. No passport needed this time! I never get tired of this boat tour. The islands are beautiful and the weather was great! Afterwards we went to visit Clayton, another small town on the shores of the St. Lawrence River that we visited often when we lived here. We discovered that our favorite place to eat there (Bella's) had expanded their patio and had more outdoor seating.
For dinner we met up with our friends who were our neighbors. We enjoyed a nice dinner and walked around Sackets afterwards. Tomorrow will be our last day here and we plan to pack things in such as going to the zoo and visiting more old friends and some family.
