New York New York. It's everything everyone said, the good and bad. We arrived and met up with Sam, Craig, Chantel and Peter. First stop was to Central Park for some ice-skating. Naturally I was great at it. Chantel took a heavy fall along with Craig also slipping up once. Chantel found $60 on the ground and took us all out for hot dogs. Yummy!! Actually they were really good.
Pictures : New York With Sam and Craig off to London, the rest of us went to the Irish Pub across the street. Anton and Chantel were tired from the day skating so left early. This is where I learned, painfully, what happen's when Peter says "Just one more beer". We stayed out to the wee hours of the morning 6am. Ops! Anton was not impressed, even though I still go up the next morning at 9 to go sight seeing.
Pictures : Pete and I drinking United Nations first stop, Peter and I with our hang-overs where doing ok. Seeing the security council and all the history of the UN was really cool. The sky was pretty grey all day, and then in the afternnon suddenly the sun started coming out. We headed to
Empire State building where their was a 90mins queue. Seeing an upgrade to an express ticket we all agreed and up we went without the queue. Diffiently worth every cent.

Pictures : Empire State Building One of Antons schcool friends came up from to visit, who now live in the US, Wayne and his wife. So went spent the next few days with them which was great fun. Seeing Chinatown, Central Station and Hooters!!
Our great friend, Carl who we meet in Cape Town, got a flight to New York meet up with us in an Irish pub for a few drinks.
