We have been in Durban for the last 3 days. First night we arrived we went and got our BMW again. Such a nice car to drive. I think Anton is going to upgrade when we get home!! YAY
We went to Anton's local in Westville called Waxy's. A local Irish pub. About 20 people turned up. All great friends of Antons. I even meet Anton's ex Wesley which was pretty interesting. The drinks flowed and flowed, along with my camera shots. I have some great shots - they'll be posted shortly.
Pictures : Waxys Going to Durban beach was scary. Many coloured people that made us whitey stand out very much. To the point where we all felt uncomfortable and unsafe. We didn't stay long.
We stayed with Greg's family. His mum, Maragret, was loverly to us. Snoopy the dog was cool too. They even sometimes have monkeys in the backyard!! Honset, true story.
Durban is feeled with many gates, electric fences and gaurds. It's all about security. There is a place here like "Stepford" wives houses in a huge locked grounds. It's about 35million Rand to to but a house there. But it's very safe.
Saw were Anton grew up, his local shopping centre and his other Brother Garry. He is a really cool guy. Alittle quiet at first, but warms up to you afterwards.
We also went to a Zulu tribe dance. Pretty cool. Strange dancing but learned about the culture and their way of doing things. A few croc and snakes were at the same park which we checked out. HUGE snakes and the croc were crocs I guess. None the less, they were cool.
