Hurricane Sandy made her appearance last night and we were one of the lucky ones. Even though there was damage nearby, we didn't lose power. 20 blocks away the city is underwater.
Our hotel room is trashed. we get new towels daily but no room cleanup... who cares, it's another one of our travel adventures.
At lunch we will venture out and walk around. I hear the few cabs running are charging crazy fares. We will walk. I'm sure we will stop by the wine store if it is open.
Our cruise has been delayed at least a day so we will extend our hotel stay. I hope to get tickets tomorrow night to Evita - we will have to see if Broadway is still dark or not tomorrow night.
