Well we left Carolina Beach yesterday as Sandy was starting it's winds and rain and flew to Newark. We landed and had a wonderful time in New York city for the evening. Now we are in NYC for Sandy's visit. Looks like 60+ MPH gusts over the next few days and subways, trains... all cancelled after 7pm tonight. we've stocked up on water and snacks and even bought a flash light. Our cruise doesn't leave until Wed and everything should be fine then but our fun days in NYC are naught. We will be going to a show today - Nice work if you can get it with Mathew Broderick (? on spelling). Brunch before hand with Patty 2 - we met last year on our Panama Canal cruise. She might be staying with us over the next few days as her train was to leave for Albany at 7:15 and we are not sure yet if it will be cancelled.

I plan on getting up and just working the next few days to save my vacation days.

If anything exciting happens, I'll update the blog. Hope everyone is doing well.
