Impressive architecture
Just a quick update for today, our last before we fly to Las Vegas tomorrow afternoon.

We had a lovely day walking around the university in Princeton, visiting historical Morrisville and fighting the Manhattan traffic to get to our hotel in Queens which is near JFK Airport for tomorrow's flight.

Princeton was a really picturesque town with a beautiful university campus. It helped that the sun was shining and at around 26 degrees, it wasn't too hot to walk around and take it slowly. Rachel says she wishes she had come to Princeton University instead of Aberystwyth (I'm not sure why!!!) as she loved the architecture and the tranquility of the place.

We drove for an hour to Morrisville, New Jersey which was the place where George Washington lived during the winter in a couple of years during the American Civil War in the 18th Century. Apparently, according to the museum, New Jersey and in particular Morrisville was an important stronghold between New York and Philadelphia during the Civil War. It was an interesting half an hour in the museum but unfortunately, the house where George Washington lived was closed for renovation so we couldn't look in there.

Leafy and green campus

We soldiered through the terrible New York traffic and got one last look at the impressive Manhattan skyline before we reached Queens and another little hotel a few miles from the Airport.

Lets hope England do well tomorrow, we hope to watch it once we have checked in for our flight.

So far we have managed to visit six states in the USA since we arrived on the 7th June. They are: New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Pennslyvania.

Also, the American 25 cents coins have George Washington on one side and various designs on the other. There is the main American Eagle design and then one design for each of the 50 states and also some United States territories coins. Rach and I didn't notice this until we were at the Laundromat in Washington (the machines took quarters so we needed a lot!) Being sad like we are we have deicded to try and collect them all before we leave here! So far we have the main Eagle design and the states of Mississippi, Virginia, Hawaii, Delaware, Maryland, Rhode Island, Kentucky, North Carolina, Conneticut and Ohio. We will be sure to keep you
