After a quick stop at the hotel room, we were ready for a night out exploring! Our first stop was the St. Patrick's Cathedral. Again, very close to the hotel and we strolled past Rockefeller Center and over to St. Patrick's Cathedral. Even with ongoing renovations, this is a remarkable building with interesting architecture and historical significance. After about an hour visiting and learning about this landmark, we journeyed on. Next stop was dinner - destination Times Square! There is no better way to get into the rhythm of New York City than to be in the mix at Times Square. We had a relaxing walk from 5th Avenue to 7th Avenue and enjoyed the varied architecture along the route. New York style pizza was on the menu at the famous John's Pizzaria on 44th street. After our fill of pizza, we were ready to wind down for th evening and made our way back to the hotel.
