Bullish behaviour on Wall Street
This statute weighed about 200tonne and was a gift from the sculptor MATTHEW
On the second day I woke up covered in red bites and we didn't know what they were. We went to breakfast at a diner. After our breakfast we got on a double decker tour bus which took us around New York. We got off at Battery Park and I got my first look at Lady Liberty. We got tickets for the ferry to go to Liberty Island but the line was miles long so we decided we wouldn't go then as the ticket was valid for fourteen days so we had a while.
We walked around up through some markets and down through Wall Street and got some pictures of the Bull statute (the front and behind it). We came to a dock where there were lots of 19th Century iron hulled sailing boats (clippers). After we went and got a hot dog from one of the many hot dog stands around New York. We went to Central Park and we walked for a bit and then we went to a Lego store and we saw a Lego construction of Jack Sparrow, Lady Liberty and Batman and there were also a ton of Lego things around. Even turtles live here that we headed back to the apartment where Dad's meetings were held and Mum came back from shopping. She had to do some work that afternoon so we watched TV. Then we went to dinner but I was so tired I could barely eat my food. Chris was tired too so we went home a bit early and hit the hay.

Today Dad took us out on a Double Decker bus and took us to see different monuments. We saw a statute that had been in between the twin towers which was shaped in a ball to represent the globe. We had our first hot dog a little later and tried to get into the Statute of Liberty but the line was too big. We went to a toy store where they filmed a scene of the Smurfs. I bought a bucket of lollies which I chose which was huge which we ate over two days.
