Day1 London t New york

It is now 6.30pm New York time, 1.30am UK time.

What a journey here. I have to say that I have travelled with better airlines than AA and also worse. Journey to Heathow was a dream, very little traffic and parking was fine.
Terminal 3 is its normal dreary boring self but we soon were on the plane and, after a 30 minute wait took off for our 7hour flight.

Excuse me, had to have an ice cool bub then. Food on the flight was terrible and Iwas charged 6 dollars for a gin and tonic.

Kennedy airport was lovely and we were soon being coached through queens, over the brooklyn bridge to our hotel. Saw the theme park that was used in Men in Black.

Dropped off our stuff and went for a long walk. Saw the Empire state building again and walked through Greenwich village. Not your typical NY

City tour tomorrow.

The view from our hotel window is wonderful - The empire state building - as I look at it now the sun on it is gleaming.
