Englishman in New York

So, first entry to this diary, am afraid i shall have to keep it short and sweet as have only 5 mins left with which to type.

It seems to have been an eventful first couple of days, managed to get here and find the hostel okay, went on a walk around central park before going for a couple of beers and a pizza first night. Central park is incredible, just not what is expected at all from such a chaustrophobic city, really beuetiful though.

Yesterday went to museum of natural history in morning before taking a walk into midtown and then seeing the sunset from the top of the empire state building, sound a bit cliche' but it was amazing, you could see for mile out over the state of New York and beyond i am told!

Today we seem to have just been walking all day, ended up in an Irish bar, talking to two americans who were telling us how mental St Pats will be next week. Will try to post again tommorrow in more detail, my time is up!
