So long winter

We started the past little segment of life with a nice winter snow. Lena and Mommy and Granddad went to the powder keg festival. It was his March "Treat of the Month". It was the first year of the festival which is timed to be the same weekend as the Pond Hockey tournament. I can see it only getting better as you two get older and can enjoy it more. Who knows, at some point maybe you or Daddy will be playing in the tournament on the ice in the inner harbor! For now though, we were pleased just to go through the ice maze and tube down the exit ramp from the skyway. Hopefully next year they will build it up a bit so that you can go even faster😊

We had a couple of nice visits with Nana. She came into town to go to Auntie Binky's graduation with Grandma, Granddad, Uncle Tim and Mrs. D. We didn't get to go down to Georgia but it was great having everyone around for a couple visits.

You have been having a wonderful time visiting with Grampa, Granny and Aunt Anne on Sundays for dinner and the evening. There are many books read, much art produced and a ton of walking and carrying.

Well Lena my dear, your hair is the subject of daily debate. Do we get it cut? Do we not? I don't want to, but you are going to start having problems seeing if you do not let me put it back. We will see, hopefully soon it will be long enough for pig-tails...

We had a wonderful time yesterday over at Violet's birthday party. It was a costume optional party, and your Mom, being your Mom, did not interpret the costume part as optional. So we made you a flower fairy costume, complete with wand! You even deigned to keep it on the whole time.

As for the last photo, well, just another of the things that is so much cooler because Charlie uses it. When you were littler you spent much time in that carrier, however at this point you are one pound shy of the upper weight limit, so you are getting your last hurrahs! Actually, you woke up after a late nap to see Teddy and Jonas for a bit and were super cranky, so in the carrier you went.
