We live in New York's Capital Region by happenstance of birth and employment; we stay here (Schenectady, Saratoga, Albany County areas) on purpose. We are a couple, now in our early 70's, traveling in a 34" Holiday Vacationer Motor Home. Wes is a GE pensioner who just ended a 50 + year career, most recently consulting with the company. Joanne is a Public Relations specialist who runs her own "boutique" agency. Fall of 2015 began our 13th year keeping this travel blog. In the winter, we travel to and through Florida. "Right to Dry" Clothesline - Weston Country Store

We shopped for old timey items, had a great lunch, and chuckled at this banner. Seems that some people - probably outsiders - want to gentrify Vermont and outlaw clothes lines. The owners of the Weston Country Store are fighting this issue. Gotta love Vermont!

Weston is such a cute town - lots of tourist appeal - cute shops - we continued on to Londonderry - Jake's Cafe had been recommended; but we already had lunch at the country store restaurant. Loved the gallery and a peek at the menu at the Garden Cafe in Londonderry.

Wonderful meal, great service, great view from the deck - perfect summer evening. Docking facilities a little wobbly; but we did it and were glad we did.

Have they succeeded?
We wer in Weston in 2008 on our holiday from the Netherlands and saw the banner of the Orton family have been succesful with their campain. Did the law stay as it was??
