"Right to Dry" Clothesline - Weston Country Store

We shopped for old timey items, had a great lunch, and chuckled at this banner. Seems that some people - probably outsiders - want to gentrify Vermont and outlaw clothes lines. The owners of the Weston Country Store are fighting this issue. Gotta love Vermont!

Have they succeeded?
We wer in Weston in 2008 on our holiday from the Netherlands and saw the banner of the Orton family have been succesful with their campain. Did the law stay as it was??
