Flat, flat and did I say, flat?

I have seen panorama photos before but never live like today. When we were traveling from OK City, OK to Albuquerque the sky was 360 degrees around us. It met the ground on all horizons, the land was so flat we could see for miles and miles in ALL directions.... it was breathtaking, marvelous, a little scary and it made me feel really, really small. We were listening to Dr. Lutzer speak on how God wants to control our lives through the Holy Spirit that He gave us, if we let Him. As he was speaking I couldn't help but wonder what a person will try to say or justify themselves IN FRONT of the God of this Universe! How small and insignificant we will be to complain to Him about our reasons for unbelief of His Son, Jesus. Then to think how small Jesus made Himself for us. WOW.... Our country is so huge, we drove for about 8 hours and only passed a few small towns... straight road, sky, rain to our left that looked like a wall of curtains... clouds that were so tall and huge that made cars look like sand... SO, then we came over a small mountain, and boom.. Albuquerque! Traffic again, beautiful roads, real Mexican food (hmmmm... always get green sauce, red sauce is HOT!) and well, Las Vegas tomorrow... pray for Towana that I can keep her from gambling all her money!! (of course if she wins anything we'll ask for forgiveness later 😊 I'll include alot of photos tomorrow of Vegas. Time zones has caught up to me!! Jody

Well,it has been a long day. We experienced breathtakingly beautiful scenery! There were moments when the land and sky seemed to go on forever, the clouds were to many to count and the blue of the sky to beautiful to describe. The next minute we would crest a hill and we were all of a sudden surrounded by the most beautiful mountains you could imagine! I was just awestruck by the beauty of it all. We are having fun, laughing a lot, that is what it is all about. I wish you could be here but, I will try to do my best to bring you along. Keep praying for us, we love and miss you all! It is really hot here where I am just wondering how is the weather there so far. Is there humidity like there is here? So looking forward to going to Las Vagas with y'all..(i have never been out of the state of Virginia). May the Lord be with you as you take this journey.
